Course description
The purpose and value of incident investigations
With the new ISO 45001:2018, there has been consistency with other ISO management standards, such as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. The working environment is thus linked more closely to the company's top management and business process and focuses more on sustainability, seen from a broad perspective.
ISO 45001:2018 is not a merely new OHSAS 18001, but a whole new standard that has a fundamentally different approach and structure than OHSAS 18001:2007. The possible synergy in an integrated management system with "the three major ISO management standards" (9001, 14001 and 45001) has never been more significant.
During the training course, you will gain an exceptional understanding of the handling and definition/setup of the "nonconformities" mentioned under 10.2 Incident, nonconformity and corrective actions.
Get your existing skills as an investigator upgraded using a much more in-depth structured method, making you thoroughly prepared for the task when the critical accident strikes.
The training includes group work and practical exercises in interview techniques, identification of causal factors and root cause analysis, as well as additional homework.
During the training course, you will learn how the incident investigation can support the company's competitiveness.
The training course includes a review of the homework assignment.
